Deadbeat Records is MOVING!

DBR is moving at the end of August, but we won’t be going far!  We are moving downstairs from our current location, into the old The Yarn Underground store.  This will double our retail space, plus increase our back storage, so there will be more stuff to browse through in a much less crowded location.  We will begin moving some things starting August 17th, and hope to be open in our new location on August 27th(ish)! DBR Summer Sale EXTENDED through August 31st

We’re pleased as punch the weather is finally warming up out there.  As such, we’re gonna help you keep your eardrums warm with some free music for your summer.

Through August 31st, if you buy any 3 items, you will get a 4th for free!  Mix and match: vinyl, cds, tapes, DVDs, turntables, accessories…anything we have for sale!  The discount is applied to the lowest priced item.

Spring Clearance / Turntables in Stock!

‘sup y’all?  Spring is slinking slowly down the stairs and it’s time for some Spring cleaning here at Deadbeat.

Here’s the deal:  everything in our clearance section is 50¢ each or as much as you want for $5.  There are around 300 LPs and a few CDs, cassettes and 7″s to choose from.

Hustle on down while there is still a good selection.  It’s not a bad way to start or build a collection with cheap standards/classics in nice shape (and other records that are not in good enough condition to go into the regular condition).

We also have several turntables in stock right now.  If you’ve been thinking how awesome it would be to spin vinyl at home, stop in to see our selection of turntables priced between $75-120.  Plus you get a $10 credit towards any vinyl purchase when you buy a turntable.  Sweet, sweet vinyl.

Big Sale Now through Valentines Day

Through February 14th, buy 3 items at Deadbeat and get a 4th FREE.  This includes all items, new and used.  You can mix and match, so you can get a CD for your mom, a DVD for your friend, and some vinyl for yourself (or whatever combination works for you!), or get all vinyl.

New year, new day open! DBR now open Mondays.

Yes, that’s right.  You can now peruse our tasty vinyl and CD collections 7 days a week.  Starting on Monday, January 16th, we will be open on Mondays.  Our hours are now Monday-Saturday 12-8 and Sunday 12-5.

If you haven’t been down recently, stop by.  We’ve expanded our vinyl and CD displays so you have even more music to choose from…and now a whole extra day to do it!

Black Friday Sale / Remodel Nearing Completion

To kick off the holiday shopping season, we’re having a Black Friday sale on our entire stock at DBR.  Everything in the store is 15% off.  No minimum purchase required.  This discount does not apply to special orders, but does apply to our entire stock of vinyl, CDs, turntables, cassettes, DVDs, etc.

We’ll be open at 10am and close no earlier than 8pm on Black Friday.

 

We also completed the biggest phase of our remodel this week!  We have two new record bins and have expanded our CD display space.  Additionally, we made it easier to browse our “collectible/rare” items!

Back to school sale

School’s starting again, and if you’re anything like us, you need music to help you study and relax. That’s why we’re having a back to school sale through Friday August 26th.

Clearance sale, turntables & more

Deadbeat is going to be doing a bit of redesign/remodeling during the first half of June. We will be moving things around, adding more room for vinyl and hopefully making our selection a bit easier to navigate. To make some room, we’re having a sale on our clearance stock. Fill up a box, a bag, your arms or whatever with items in our clearance section (vinyl $3 and under, CDs and tapes) for just $10! It’s a great chance to build up your vinyl collection with some classic albums.

We are fully stocked with a variety of turntables, all between $60-100. Through the end of June, get $10 store credit with the purchase of any turntable.

We have some new people on the DBR staff, so come down and say hi to our newest Deadbeats, Carson, Kentaro and Kirsten.

End of April Update
